Chapter 4 of 7
20 min

Read the actual segment distribution and customer examples

Confirm the four segment counts and select a synthetic customer example to make each campaign action concrete.

Question for this chapter

Which groups actually exist, and which customer examples make their next action concrete?

Try it

  1. Open Pipelines, then open customer_segmentation under analytics.
  2. Confirm that both steps succeeded and select the rightmost customer_analytics output after rfm_segmentation.
  3. Open the Data tab in the inspector. Confirm 22 total rows and 9 columns, then set the page size to 25 so all customers appear on one page.
  4. Open Dashboards and sales_overview. Confirm Total Customers is 22 and Customer Segments shows 7 champion, 11 loyal, and 4 new customers. The zero-member at_risk group has no donut slice.
SegmentCustomersCampaign role
champion7Retention and recognition
loyal11Repeat purchase and cross-sell
new4Second-purchase onboarding
at_risk0Do not launch for this sample

The zero is not a calculation error. None of the 22 customers has both more than 30 days since their last order and at least two orders.

Read one customer from each group

CustomerSegmentOrdersTotal spendMessage draft
CUST-017champion7$106.44Recognition and early access for a frequent customer
CUST-025loyal4$62.47Suggest an item that complements the latest purchase
CUST-089new1$13.99Usage guidance and a second-order introduction

These three rows appear directly in the customer_analytics Data tab. If the table is empty or does not contain 22 rows, return to chapter 3, confirm both pipeline steps succeeded, and run the pipeline again.

These are workshop campaign hypotheses. Contact consent, channel eligibility, and frequency caps are not present in the scenario, so this table is not a send list.

Next decision

You selected three groups and customer examples. Next, confirm their scale on the dashboard and include the current purchase-graph limitation in the campaign draft.
