Create your first collection

A collection is a workspace that groups assets such as datasets · sources · views · code · pipelines · knowledge · dashboards · collection-scoped agents. Most resource work in D.Hub happens inside a collection. This lesson walks you through the first one you make, by hand.

Create a collection

Go to Collections in the left sidebar. Click Create at the top of the collection list. The Create Collection dialog opens with Name, Alias, Description, and Tags on one screen. There are no separate selection or review steps.

Enter the following details.

• Name — Starts with a lowercase letter, uses only lowercase letters, digits, and underscores (_), up to 63 characters. Example: my_first_collection. If another collection already uses this name, you can't proceed.
• Alias — The Korean / English label shown to users. The primary label in trees, tables, and search results. Example: My First Collection.
• Description — One or two lines on what this collection is for.
• Tags — For search and classification. The Collection tag is included by default.

Next to alias, description, and tags is an AI autofill button — fill the name only and let the three other fields auto-suggest.

Check the four fields and click Create at the bottom of the dialog. Existing assets are added from the collection detail screen after creation, so your first collection starts empty. The new collection is automatically selected in the left tree under My collections, and the detail screen opens.

Tour the new collection

The collection detail header shows its name · alias · owner · tags. Click More details to expand the collection's additional information. The items area below shows No items yet. After you add the first dataset in the next lesson, it appears in this area.

What you should be able to do after this lesson

• Find the Create button in the collection list
• Distinguish the four fields — Name / Alias / Description / Tags
• Know that starting empty is fine
